Songs / Lesson library

Find a song
your hands can play.

A familiar title is useful. A clear account of the hand movement, rhythm and reading load is better. Use both to choose your next lesson.

Choose by the work, not the badge

Two songs can carry the same beginner label and ask for different skills. One stays under five fingers but has an awkward pickup. Another uses six notes but moves in an easy, familiar pattern. The useful question is not simply “Is this easy?” It is “What will my hands have to do?”

What our levels mean

Starter

One hand at a time, a compact range and a rhythm that can be counted before it is played.

Beginner

A pickup, an accidental, a small hand move or a basic left-hand pattern adds one new job.

Intermediate

Voicing, continuous patterns or coordination make relaxed control more important than finding the notes.

A level describes the arrangement taught on the page. It does not automatically describe the complete original work.
